Title: EFLX red dot sight
Post by: Thaddeus on February 01, 2023, 02:34:06 PM
Anyone have experience with the Eotech EFLX Mini Reflex red dot sights? Good or bad choice for a pistol sight?

I have no idea.

I've got a question too:

I saw a video quite awhile back which reviewed pistol reddots. This particular reddot had some feature that made acquiring the dot way easier. Anybody know which one that is? I can't remember the details but I remember thinking if I ever buy one that's the one I'd get. I've only shot friend's reddot pistol one time and it took a bit of doing to find the dot quickly.

no experience with the EOtech option, im slowly getting over my phobia of pistol mounted red dots. But I have used Trijicon, holosuns, and leupolds, I think the EOtech is probably good to go basing it on the rifle optics Ive used. the price is right and if your are using delta point cut mounts its arguably better if you prefer a clean dot to the DPP's chevron.

I believe this is what your were talking about kirby https://www.primaryarms.com/holosun-hs507c-v2-acss-pistol-red-dot-sight-acss-reticle

it has a giant circle around the dot that shows where to hold and how to correct for proper sight alignment. then cicrle can be turned off to save battery life once you become familair with picking up the dot on your draw which is a nice feature. Jason has one and I liked using his quite a bit.

It also comes in the better color of green if thats your jam.

I like the Holosun HS507K-X2 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle Red Dot. It's also available in green. I like green the best in daylight situations.

I just mounted a Holosun HS507K-X2 in green on my on my Springfield Hellcat. Since I have an astigmatism, small dots look like the letter Q and are fuzzy. I pick up the circles fine. This one has choice of dot, circle or circle and dot.
