Good video. Like what we teach at Appleseed with a couple more techniques I found interesting.

I agree it's a solid video about bullseye pistol technique, but this is not how Project Appleseed teaches one-handed shooting. The manual in my opinion is not clear enough on one-handed shooting, as I tried to argue in a recent thread (https://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=64149.0).
What our manual currently says about dominant hand only shooting is as follows:
Quote1. Stance shoulder width apart with strong side foot forward
2. Body at roughly 45 degrees to target
3. Weight on balls of feet
4. Knees loose, not locked
5. Strong-hand gripping pistol high on tang
6. Strong arm locked straight
7. Pistol remains erect or can be canted up to 30 degrees
8. Support-hand resting on chest
9. Firm grip on pistol
10. Thumb parallel to slide
11. The only part of trigger finger that should touch gun is that part touching trigger (pad or
first joint, depending on grip size.) Don't drag wood
As you can see, #1 above is terribly vague and, without pictures, is totally unhelpful. #2 helps, but our AAR photos often reflect that #2 is completely ignored at our events. #8 is also often ignored. But even though the Manual is vague and unhelpful, it is clearly not teaching the fully bladed bullseye position. Hopefully, the new manual fixes all this!
Thanks Moylan. I stand corrected.
I was indeed instructed in the techniques you showed above. I checked the version 4.0 manual. I suspect my memory faded since that one Appleseed clinic, and I was thinking of what I do most often, which is the quarterly CMP International air pistol matches. The stance is very much left to the competitor.
6.1.2 Air Pistol Firing Position
The athlete must stand free, without any artificial or other support, with both feet
and/or shoes completely within the firing point. The pistol must be held and fired
with one (1) hand only. The wrist must be visibly free of support.
