Title: Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club, Charlottesville VA 12-13 November
Post by: BrotherPilot on November 14, 2022, 09:13:34 AM
IT was a -beautiful- weekend  and  a group of hardy patriots gathered to enjoy the weather, learn marksmanship, and learn some history.  Marksmanship greatly improved as witnessed by the results of the Red Coat targets from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon.  We had a number of youth on the line and they did remarkably well!  One, the next to youngest, cleaned his Sunday afternoon Red Coat!  Well done!

Adults had a good time as well, with significant improvements in marksmanship.  We minted a new rifleman, congratulations to Grace for persisting and putting the elements of marksmanship together and scoring a 212!  Huzzah!

OverTheMountain received his Orange hat. Many many thanks for stepping up!
Also, Tennessee Beast, border raiding from the Volunteer State, received his 75 shoot pin.  Huzzah!

It was great to host another Appleseed clinic at RRPC!

I was happy to see everyone enjoy their time on the range. Everyone's shooting skills improved over the weekend, and I was especially happy to see the younger shooters improve and enjoy the event!

My thanks go out again to the Virginia Appleseed Instructors (and one traveling Tennessean) for holding a safe & fun event at our club.

To all of the students, I hope to share time on a range with you again!

Stay vigilant,
Messer
