Title: Charlottesville, VA AAR - October 10th 2022 Rifle Clinic
Post by: BrotherPilot on October 11, 2022, 06:39:42 PM
Nine fine young patriots from the Leadership Institute gathered at Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club on a magnificent October day for marksmanship instruction and lessons in the history of the beginning of the nation.  The day started well with introductions and safety, and the first Red Coat of the day.  Then on to basic marksmanship, and the First and Second Strikes of the Match at lunch.  More marksmanship followed lunch, and an AQT, and finally the afternoon Red Coat showing good progress from our shooters!

Some of the best history questions I've heard yet, as well.

To the shooters, thank you very much for taking valuable time out of a heavy schedule to come to Appleseed. All of us  really appreciated having you there! Cadre, thank you very much for all the help and hard work! Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club, thank you for hosting us!

Since  :pics:  stand by for some pics!

It truly was a great day to be at the range with folks learning the skills of rifle shooting.

I'm glad the club can provide the facilities to make things like this happen.

All of the students paid attention, all were safe, all improved as the day went on. Huzzah! to all of you.

To the instructors of Appleseed, Thank you! Your dedication to safety makes it easy to support this much needed training.

Stay Vigilant,
Messer

Thanks to all of the instructors, and especially BrotherPilot, for your effort to making this event finally, after 3 years (?), actually take place.
The students were very encouraging to me about the future of our country! I am hopeful that we can make this a recurring event not only for Leadership Institute, but also for the LI staff.
Aly, thanks for the early departure and negotiating the heavy traffic on a holiday. We hope all the participants left with a positive attitude about the efforts of Project Appleseed.
