6 Shooters joined us for Ladyseed Event in Windy Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was a cool September morning, and we had a lot of new shooters. After a Little History and the Safety Brief we took to the shooting line. From the first Hits count target you wouldn't guess we had many new shooters; no one got the Bayonet. We had one new shooter clear the target, her first time shooting the rifle. Did I mention that she borrowed a Rifle, from some new Green Hat? We assisted shooters getting their rifles zeroed through squares. We ended the day with a lot of Ah-Ha moments and smiles from the improvement the students had throughout the day.
Sunday started off well. The final shooting position was taught, and we moved on the shooting AQT's. Scores stayed above 100 with the high in the 180's for the day. We took a break from the "grind" to shoot some steel. The game was to see who could get the most hits out of 5 shots on a 16 MOA target at 25 Yards. All students went 5 for 5. We changed the steel out for an 8 MOA target and all the student went 4 for 5, with the exception of 1 who went 5 for 5. Smaller steel targets were not available. The winner of the game got a "Shoot like a Girl, If you can" hat.
During the event we spoke with a lot of on lookers and took the opportunity to hand out Tri-Folds and information. Of the attendee's I am confident we will see them at other events.

What a fun weekend! It was a pleasure to spend time with these fine ladies, and was well worth the drive to the ABQ. My thanks to the team: Maha, Desert_Diver, and Gila. Gentlemen, you were fantastic.
Huzzah!
I agree with Mrs. Smith - great weekend with a fun bunch of shooters and instructors.
