We had our first 200 yard RFKD at NWCSA in Colebrook tis past Saturday with a full line of eager and attentative shooters. We had some beautiful weather with some wind to keep it interesting.
After preliminary sight in at 25 yds we progressed downrange getting zeros at distance, determining come ups and sorting things out. After lunch and finishing at 200 yds we fired some AQT's. Some difficulties like the wind, incorrect sight adjustments kept a few working hard to gain hits at distance but some had things go well.
Axel hit a count of 40, Mark a 41 and Todd managed a 43 by days end. Several others were in the mid to high 30's, hits count wise. All of the attendees were a great group to work with.
A thank you goes out to Kosciuszko and Hucktuey for working the event. Hucktuey had signed on as a shooter but had equipment issues and helped the remainder of the day with line work.
NWCSA is to be thanked for use of the range. The 200 yd section was finished and as ready as could be.
A Rifleman persists.
Here are our three KD Rimfire Rifleman!
SO much Great information!
I think too much for one day, it should be a two day course.
SO many great shooters at this event, i would have bet on more than three KD Riflemen.
thanks Tom and Staff for a great and safe Event.
