What a time, what a time!
The North Texas crew had a GREAT shoot this weekend at the Gainesville (Muenster) range. Tickets were sold out - let the message of liberty spread!
Significant improvement was shown by all. It was a bit warm - it's Texas, after all - but that didn't hold us back. Comparing the Hits Count results from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon shows a world of difference, and smiles were on faces all weekend long. We had THREE - not one, not two, but THREE people qualify for rifleman. 2 new shooters, and 1 re-qualification. The re-qualification happened to occur on the very last AQT, by a shooter with a bolt action, iron sighted rifle. His younger brother had earned his first rifleman patch earlier in the day, and sibling rivalry wouldn't let that challenge go unanswered. ;D Looking forward to seeing you both at a future KD!
Mackey and Gigi were only able to assist on day 1. We appreciate you giving whatever time you had available! A couple of other instructors fell ill and weren't able to make it in :( Fortunately, Gugisman was ready to help share the load and KProctor was able to take over as well. And in a brand new debut, Helaman did a fantastic job as his first time out wearing a spiffy new orange hat! Thank you team!!!
