Two motivated shooters arrived for the FIRST Ladyseed ever held in New Hampshire! They brought a great receptive learning mindset to our one-day version - and wow did it produce results! One shooter, who was a first-timer with firearms, ended up producing 4 MOA groups at the end of the day, and almost cleaned the Redcoat! Her friend did equally as well - they absorbed our "firehouse" of information like sponges. We had chocolate on hand, which seemed to help everyone, shooters and instructors alike.
The opportunity to have one-on-one instruction throughout the entire day was special,
We took frequent breaks to hear history, including the Three Strikes, and Dangerous Old Men (and Women).
Lots of great questions came up, both on the instruction and on the history.
The wind gusts really picked up by mid-morning. I guess that comes with shooting at a place aptly named "Ridgeline", which pretty much describes our location. We managed to stake things down enough to avoid getting literally blown into the next shooting bay. Our hosts, especially TJ and Alex the owner, were extremely accommodating and helpful, and we are grateful for their support. Great facility.
Pics to follow, courtesy of 300berg. A shoutout to Cait1775, who did a great job both instructing and presenting Dangerous Old Men (and Women).
Thank you to our shooters, who were a pleasure to instruct, very safe, and eager to learn. We hope to see the. both at another Project Appleseed event soon.
On the final redcoat, we had 2-3 MoA groups for a shooter using a rifle for the first time in her life.
Huzzah!
(found my flashcard! sorry for late photos!)
WOW! Nice!!! CONGRATS on your first ladyseed!!!
Looks like these two ladies were intent on making lots of progress.
HOpefully you will see them back at future events and make riflewomen out of them!

Mom came first, then her family came to our October shoot. :)
Kids have a new respect for Mom based on targets! ;D
