Title: Kaysville, UT AAR - August 19-20, 2022
Post by: aaronz on August 22, 2022, 03:22:17 PM
Up until the last minute I was struggling with the decision of whether or not to cancel this shoot. We only had two students sign up, and there was a high chance of thunderstorms all weekend.

I went ahead with it because I wanted our newest IIT, Shabadoo, to get some seat time before our upcoming full shoots in September and October.

Even though only one of the shooters showed up, I didn't regret it.

The weather ended up being unseasonably cool and pleasant the entire shoot. Our student, Amos - a new shooter, made marked improvements over the two days, and I'm sure he'll be earning a rifleman badge in the future.

Shabadoo earned his IIT1 rank and will be much better prepared for next month's full shoot!

Nice way to perserver - a full line is great for Liberty but you never know the future impact even one Appleseeder will have.

That is so true. The basic building block of everything is one guy
