Title: Buying Projectiles
Post by: Southern Grey on March 24, 2009, 10:44:28 AM
Looking around the net, it seems that bullets and brass, too, for that matter are getting harder to find.

I'm wondering if you folks might have a somewhat obscure source of supply that I might avail myself of to obtain such supplies.

If you think that you do, please let me know.

Try cheaperthandirt.com
They no longer offer the Appleseed discount, but, they are pleasant folks to deal with.

I just ordered two boxes of .223 HPBT 77 grain and 80 grain.
Ordered on Thursday, here on Monday.  O0

I went through Cabelas in Sydney Nebraska yesterday and they actually had quite a bit on the shelf,,    finally :D Perhaps all the panic buying has begun to slow down. They even had the CCI arsenal 35s for the big 50 and pallets of Hornady 223 and quite a bit of the Winchester 5.56 in the white boxes. I loaded up on the 168 grain A-Max 308s and the Nosler 125s. My M1A really likes the Hornady 110 V-maxs too. O0
