Thank you Slippery Rock Sportsmans Club for your long standing support of Project Appleseed!
Six hearty Patriots turned out to improve their marksmanship and learn more about their Heritage. Despite the summer down pour, heat and humidity they all persevered to earn their Rifleman Patch and half of them clearing the Red Coat!
Thank you to the support of a great volunteer crew.
It was sort of like running an Appleseed in a pressure cooker. You might expect this weather in Florida. But the students all stayed out of the sun as much as possible and stayed ahead of the hydration curve, so there were no health problems
The students persevered through some pretty extreme conditions, and they all did very well. Thanks to all of the instructors who came out the students got a lot of individual attention.
HUZZAH!
Thanks for having us! Was a good time, despite the weather. Too hot and humid for me, that's for sure. Certainly left enough sweat on my rifle for a baptism.
As always, all of you (instructors) provided a superlative experience, demonstration of history, and impressed the importance of rightful liberty.
Biggest pleasure I got out of the weekend, other than seeing you all again, was sharing it with everyone I drug along and seeing them qualify as riflemen.
