We started the sweltering weekend at Indianhead Rifle & Pistol Club with 8 brave students. The humidity was high and it was pretty hot. But the students persisted. Hot enough to warrant several breaks to re hydrate, cool down and listen to history and heritage from instructors. We saw steady improvement from everyone all weekend. Mark got his Rifleman patch on Saturday with a score of 213 with a rimfire. Then on Sunday did it again with a centerfire with a score of 217. Congratulations Mark! I am very impressed with all our students. Keep at it, I know each and every one of you have the capability of getting that rifleman patch. Remember, Persist. I hope i have the privilege to see you all at another event. Thank you all for coming out, I hope you enjoyed it as much as i did.
Dont forget that there was another step to the 6 steps to firing a shot. The 7th step, if you enjoyed your weekend, please tell a friend, and bring someone with you to another event. With your help, we can make this nation a nation of Rifleman and grow the program.
Here are a few more pictures. All that have pictures, please post them.
This looks like it was a fun event. I wish I could have been there. Congrats to all the shooters.
Congratulations to new Shoot Boss M14man! The highlight of another great event at Indianhead Rifle & Pistol Club, my home range and a long-standing Appleseed supporter.
