AAR Newberry, SC
July 9 and 10, 2022
What a swing in weather for the two days! Saturday was a usual SC summer day; 92 F and extremely humid. Some dehydration signs but nothing severe, cleared by fluids. Sunday, on the other hand was cloudy with drizzle alternating with light rain, never reached 80 F. We had cover for the instruction, lunch, history, and KD dis8cussion, so shooting was not hindered. Dry for the afternoon AQT grind.
1st day had 6 shooters (one father observing); good Redcoat in AM and better in PM.
Sunday we had 4 return students and we created 3 riflemen! HUZZAH!
Excellent return to this venue, it has been 8 years since the last Newberry AS.
I believe the proper term is Triumphant!
Next time I'm bringing a snorkel! It was wet on the line!
Finally got that monkey off my back and shot a high of 232, and cleared the Redcoats and the shingle.
The instructors at Appleseed are the best! Thanks again to Steve, Jeff, Todd, and Josh for a great weekend. I really liked Newberry as a site for Appleseed.
See you in October! :snipersmi
