Well, June 1st is the start of hurricane season according to NOAA. As if on queue a tropical descended upon our area and was predicted to be overhead on June 4th. We ended up making our scheduled 2-day pistol clinic a 1-day pistol clinic as the storm was predicted to be out of our area by Sunday. With a little reorganizing we made the appropriate contacts and had a full line on Sunday. The weather didn't hamper these patriots from turning out and partaking of our history and instruction on Sunday. We only hit a high of 99 degree heat index. We didn't break the 100 degree mark but it sure felt like it. We had plenty of previous Appleseeder's now trying their hand at pistols. They were thrilled that we incorporate our "standard" history with the addition of the Sam and Sam story. It was a great Sunday and a perfect day to Appleseed!
We ended the day with 1 Pistoleer™ re-qualification and three new ones! HUZZAH! Well done! There are a few knocking on the door too! Our instructors were well rewarded seeing scores increase and groups decrease with the skills our shooters picked up with the instruction provided.
