Seven shooters gathered for a Patriot's day event on April 23. This included two 12 year olds. Both days were beautiful but windy.
The highlights of our activities follow. After going through the typical introductory material and history, we proceeded through the Six Steps, broken into two parts, along with accompanying exercises, and NPOA. We then fired at square targets for groups. After IMC and Carding the Sights, there was a preparatory exercise for Stage 3 involving dry fire, mag changes and live fire on two square targets. Then there was a simulation and execution of Stage 3. This was followed by a similar simulation and execution of Stage 2. Then Stages 1 and 4 were executed. The AQTs were then continued, with history interspersed appropriately.
Day two began with only necessary reviews. Rifleman's Bubble and Dance, and Ball and Dummy were covered. Rifle zeroes were then checked by firing at the little circles on the new Red Coat targets. AQTs filled up the rest of the day.
Only four shooters showed up for the second day. The two 12 year olds had to be in church. But the result of the weekend was two shooters who earned the Rifleman's Patch. Congratulations to Jerry with a 217 and Brian with a 220.
I hope that others will post some pictures.

What a great weekend at Barren River Rod and Gun Club. We had the opportunity to commemorate Patriots' Day with a fantastic group of Americans and even awarded a couple of Rifleman patches! Huzzah!
Here are a few pictures I managed to get along the way.
