We had a great Known Distance event in Searsboro with ten shooters and four instructors. The wind and rain gave us fits several times on Saturday blowing over our targets at the most inconvenient times but that didn't prevent four shooters from qualifying at full distance on Saturday and one more on Sunday. Congratulations to Nick (48 hits), Mike (40 hits), Josh (47 hits), Mark (40 hits), and Adam (40 hits).
It was great to see such a variety of rifles on the line (AR, M1A, M1 Garand, AK, FN SCAR).
Many thanks to Cort, Shannon, and Joe for helping instruct and to the Big Springs range for hosting the event.
Sorry this After Action Report is a little slow in coming. I traveled to Louisiana and Texas at 6:00 the next morning and was gone for a couple weeks with no computer access.
