I had a chance yesterday to shoot a Ruger PCC, 9mm, in their chassis offering.
It is my son's rifle and it is quite a shooter: accurate and reliable, brand new out of the box.
How accurate? The little rifle is equipped with a red dot sight (a 2 MOA dot) and with Hornady HAP 115 gr HPs we were getting 2.5" groups at 75 yards. I'm not saying it'd be a 1 MOA rifle with a 6x scope on it but I was impressed just the same. At 50 yards the holes in paper are all touching. At 25 it's a small ragged hole.
We shot it out to 100 yards and came away with the impression that the 9mm is a bit flatter in trajectory than a .22 LR. It'd be fun to shoot a 100 yard AQT with it. I did have one 100 yard AQT target with me and at 100 yards Christian was able to keep his shots in the black.
Trigger pull was in the 5 lb range. Overall weight of the rifle I'd estimate at 6.5 - 7 lbs. This rifle was equipped for Glock magazines.
Field stripping is quite easy: Remove the barrel, remove the free floated fore arm. Remove the upper from the lower. Ease the bolt forward, remove the trigger (just like a 10/22). To remove the bolt you have to unscrew the charging handle from the bolt and then simply the lift the bolt out of the receiver. Clean and lube the works and put it back together.
If you're in the market for a PCC, I can recommend a Ruger PCC. I might have to get one for myself!

DeckApe has the original Ruger PCC. It will eat anything but definitely likes heavier bullets for accuracy. The attached pic was shot sling up prone at 25m.
Hi Charles,
That target could be a clone of the ones we we had. I have not yet bought a pcc, but it is in my plans.

147 grain stack on top of each other
124 grain 4-6 MOA
115 grain 6-8 MOA
It all depends on how small and far away the target is for what ammo is acceptable.
Yesterday my son and I did some cabin fever shooting and for one of of his rifles he used his Ruger pcc. Again it did not disappoint. With blammo ammo fmj's he scored a 163 on an SR1 target. Target was set at 100 yards. Course of fire was standing, kneeling, sitting and prone. 5 shots for each.
Good little rifle.
