HUZAH! What a great weekend with the White Sands on one side and magnificent 9000' mountains on the other. Patriot Americans showed up on this 20 year 9-11 anniversary of an attack on our nation, to learn what our ancestors did to give us the liberty we enjoy and needs protecting to this very day. Weather was great and the Hit's Count target was engaged but they were not in a lot of danger and we went to work. Our history was well covered through out the day and we were seeing huge marksmanship progress as the hot day wore on. One practice AQT and the afternoon Hit's Count target showed much improvement. Sunday morning, another beautiful day. Review, history... And we proceeded to hammer out Rifleman on the anvil of the AQT. Scores kept getting better and better. Michael and Nate both turned in Rifleman scores of 216 and 217! Teasing the two, Nate shot the next one with Iron sights and turned in a 230! WOW! Distinguished with irons! Impressive! And a borrowed rifle at that! Great shooting guys and we had several knocking at the door. Dallas, Dmytro, and Liam were busy giving the adults a run for their money. Liam after struggling with rifle issues but he turned in a 170 score and a 194 on his last 2 AQT's! Way to go Liam! It was a hot but rewarding weekend and seeds of Liberty were planted, looking forward to seeing all these great Americans again. Photos coming....
