Racine County line Rifle Club- August 21st, 2021,
We are forecast for 86 degrees and afternoon thunderstorms... lets see what she hands us.
All right!
We had 11 shooters who toughed it through a hot, thankfully slightly breezy, but relentlessly sunny day. Hard at it in the morning and frequent rests through the afternoon enabled us to run through 3 AQT's and produced a first time Seeder, turn RIFLEMAN!!
Congratulations Eric, well done, sir!
Our Instructor Team wishes to congratulate each and everyone who attended. Safety, even in the sweltering sun was top notch, all day. For that we are truly grateful. Scores may have suffered the heat, but adherence to the Safety Rules ran tight as a drum!
We are hoping to see each and every student back in September because we had so many that may have moved into the rifleman ranks, if not for the fatigue.
We will get some pictures up, n the next few days.
Thank you participants for coming out. It was a pleasure spending the day working together on our marksmanship and learning about our heritage of rifleman and liberty. I know the heat drained a lot of you and we were not able to shoot as well as we would have liked, but I encourage you to review your handouts and practice all that you can. Look forward to seeing one or more of you at future events.
Congrats Eric on getting rifleman on your first event and look forward to hearing or seeing your son get his soon.
Watson - thanks for coming out and bringing two friends.
