What a great group of students to have join us at VFW Post 6557 for the second event at this range. The students braved the weather to learn with us. Saturday morning brought sprinkles to heavy showers then around 1pm the switch was flipped and it was humid and sunny. We were able to complete 2 AQTs on Saturday which showed some promising groups. Sunday was clear and sunny for the day. Everyone returned for most of Sunday. Sunday brought us two requalified rifleman, Bill and our own Doc Willi. Bill and his son Grant joined us for a second time at an event. We also one of our own out with two of her children learning safe rifle handling, some history, and having a blast sending rounds down range. The youngsters that joined us are certainly very eager to come back to learn and have more fun! It was a pleasure to have all the students and instructors out for the weekend. I look forward to working with you again in the future!
Special thanks to VFW Post 6557 for graciously hosting us, Vic providing 2 days worth of food and for helping instruct, Shadow870, and Doc Willi.
