Another awesome opportunity to hang out with GREAT Americans and gain "Cool Points" from them! I believe this was our 5th Pistol Event of the year.
First, I want extend our deepest gratitude to Bullet and Barrel! Bullet and Barrel is the only National Shooting Sports Foundation 5-Star indoor facility in Alabama. They also have a Ladies Clothing Boutique. Please check the schedule for future events there.
We can't thank the Shooters enough! We had 8 fantastic people shooting. They were all foreigners…. All Tennessee and Georgia folks. I hope that you all found the time well spent. I hope to see you all again soon!
I can't possibly express my gratitude adequately to Leadslinger66, Old Navy Doc, Major Tom and Honda Hondo for their assistance in every facet of the event. They all have my undying love and respect.
Registration and early morning classes were held in the small classroom. Honda Hondo did an outstanding job with the registration desk! We had instruction on safety, and a recount of the First Strike by MajorTom. Then, into the range we went. Our first 13 rounds were on the Hits Count/ Red Coat target. On the range we learned about proper grip of the pistol, chamber checking, Isosceles stance, low ready, centerline index and natural point of aim.
We practiced what was taught using the Tombstone drill targets and dry fire for each block of instruction.
At lunch Old Navy Doc recounted the 2nd Strike for us very well!
After the lunch, we worked on controlled pairs, double tap and one-hand shooting with both strong and weak hand. Finally, we moved to the PQTs.
We had 4 out of the 8 qualify as Pistoleer™s! Ramblin' Wreck, OP 78, BrianF31 and Major Tom. There was great improvement on the line for all Shooters.
Holly, Karen, Mr. Bill and Rebeka were a treat!
In the middle of the afternoon, Leadslinger66 recounted the story of the 3rd Strike.
I love my Appleseed family.
If you have pictures, please post them here.
May Liberty Increase!
Instructing at this venue is treat. Inside, no long hikes, indoor plumbing; how could you not love it!
The shooters were amazing to work with and were all quick to learn and improve. One of our students was attending his first pistol clinic and scored Pistoleer™ on his FIRST PQT !
I'm definitely returning.
Brian31 scored a 215!
Great job Sir!

Congratulations to our four new Pistoleer™s!!!
