We had an outstanding Appleseed again at Pioneer Sportsmen. Nine patriots, including three first-time Appleseeders, experienced the joy of shooting well and the satisfaction of being confident and proficient in handling their rifles, just as the original patriots who served their country on April 19th, 1775. And they did it in challenging New England conditions - brutal heat and humidity on Saturday, changeable clouds and strong wind gusts on Sunday.
Two new Riflemen qualified - Neal (212) and Ryan (216, 229). Also, two regulars requalified with scores in the 230s all weekend. Everyone made great progress, especially our junior students, Ben and Pilot. I look forward to awarding their Rifleman patches before long.
