When ever possible I try to support the Appleseed store. Because I'm adding optics to my rifle, I need to include a cheek riser to get proper eye relief. I've seen this type of cheek riser and wondering if they or something similar are carried by the Appleseed store
Sorry, no cheek risers in the store. Seems like an interesting idea though. I think many of use just build something up using foam and "vet tape".
Check out https://www.accu-riser.com/categories/Accu%252dRiser-Cheek-Pads-and-Comb-Raisers/ (https://www.accu-riser.com/categories/Accu%252dRiser-Cheek-Pads-and-Comb-Raisers/) I've got a couple of these. They work very well indeed.
I used the Victor Titan cheekrest on two of mine. It fit perfect on my Savage Mark II TRR/SR and the other is a 10/22 in a Victor Titan stock so naturally that fit well. It does mount with two screws, so I have to remove them to pull the bolt on the Savage, but that takes about 30 seconds and it works great, does not shift around like the strap on ones often do.

I bought my wife a paisley leather ITC CheekRest from Amazon. This is the manufacturers site... http://itcmarksman.corecommerce.com/

I have a very similar one to that one (VooDoo Tactical, I think). They work pretty well. The downsides are that they slide around just a little and move your cheek slightly off to the side. In my opinion, they work better than most "vet wrap jobs" I've seen to provide consistent sight alignment (with a good cheek weld).
All that being said, if you are truly having a problem with eye relief, you may want to move the scope forward (usually) or backward (rarely) in the rings or move the rings forward (or get offset rings). Changing magnification will also change eye relief.
a friend started making a very simple solution cost is low and they work very well
Kydex .125 or .080
you cut a piece the size you like with a razor knife. score with a strait edge knife bend a few times on the score and it snaps
heat till flexible , a parchment lined tray in the oven or an electric griddle are two methods
with gloved hands remove the sheet and lay the flexible rubber like sheet over your stock with a folded towel to hold it there a few minutes , you now have an exact mold of your stock , the material once cool cuts with a coping saw and sands well so that you can cut the shape you like
2 inch hook and loop with adhesive rough side goes inside the cheek riser smooth side on your gun , placing the thin cardboard from a cartridge box between the two sides of the Velcro as you slip it down and get the proper height , then the height is perfect pull the cardboard out and it locks in place well.
there are several kydex cheek risers on the market but they seem to be expensive and have hardware where you drill into the stock , the hook and loop seems to hold fine I have one that has been on the gun now 3 years
Cool idea TrapperPete! I might have to give that one a try. Sounds like a good way to start learning about working kydex also.

That is a pretty cool idea. I've bought some stuff for other projects from Knifekit's.com and they sell kydex sheets in various thicknesses and patterns, as well as some tools for working with it. I think they had a tips section that you might find useful too.
Kydex will get just soft enough to work in boiling water. I have formed a couple of check risers in a pot on the stove.

For comb height, I've been using kydex to build my own cheek risers for a few years. You can get a sheet of 0.8 for about $5 online, and I can get 2 risers per sheet. You cut the kydex to the approximate shape of an Appleseed target. (Tin snips cut well.) Heat up the kydex on a piece of tin foil in the oven to about 325 (seems to work best to start with a cold oven and take it out as soon as it gets to 325.) Then drape it over the comb of the rifle, with the "head" of the target facing downrange. Hold it tight to the stock for a couple of minutes with a towel or oven mitts.
Once it cools, just shim it up with whatever is handy, like tightly rolled shop towels, firm Styrofoam, cardboard, etc. till you get lined up with the scope, then vet-wrap or drill screw holes through and through. Done for the price of a latte.
I usually have one or two of these risers and some vet wrap in my box of stuff that I bring to shoots. If we can get a student squared away with one on their rifle, it's theirs to keep.
Check out triad tactical stock pack. It allows you to use velcro or other stuff to adjust your height. It also has a small pouch to hold small items. I have several of them and really like them
Beartooth Products has some slip over ones as well.
Have one on the wife's gun.

ATI Universal Cheek Riser goes for around 10$. PN# UCR-1900
It's a hard riser, easily tweaked with a dremal tool for perfect eye alignment if your stock contour doesn't quite match up.
Takes paint well.
At less than 10$ if you screw that up your only out a grande mocha latte.
