Title: AAR Sacramento, CA April 17-18
Post by: NorCal22Gal on April 21, 2021, 12:20:39 AM
Sacramento in April.   Nice weather both days, a bit on the windy side on Saturday afternoon and warmer than you like an April day to be on Sunday.

28 of the finest Americans ever helped us open our Patriot's Day event!

It was a mix of returning students and new students.  5 youth from 10-14.  These folks were focused and ready to absorb the teaching.

We saw groups begin to shrink as the day went on and people learned and focused.

History at lunch was very well done and engaged the students.

Sunday was warmer and less windy.  Highs in the upper 80's

We did our review and worked on fine tuning in the morning.  History at lunch.  Patriot's Day volley after lunch.  Yep, I still get goosebumps.

AQT's after the volley.  Some really nice scores right from the get go.  Then....KARL scored at 233, Elliott (a return student and instructor) hit a 214 & a 210.  Kurt again with a 242, then a 241.  Jack came in with a 220, 226, 217.  Rounding out the group was Damai...210  yes....a cool bottle of water from the North Bridge!!!

This group was wonderful to work with.

Chris..(aka ChrisCross), you'll get there...  Just don't try to help your neighbor anymore!!

There were quite a few folk who are riiiiiight there.  Keep practicing.  You'll get there.

Thank you to all who helped us tear down and clean up, it's really appreciated.

Big thanks to my instructors, with out you, I couldn't do this.

See ya next time.

I did seriously have some of the most fun this past weekend than I've had in many many years. I'm gonna try and drag my younger son and some friends of mine out to the event in September. Great group of people thank you all so much for all the time and effort you put in to it.

Such a great group of people. I am honored to be able to be a part of this Patriots day event.

Thank you to everyone who attended. You coming, learning, improving, and having fun is why I do this.
