14 SHOOTERS SHOWED UP TO LEARN BASIC RIFLE MARKSMANSHIP, AND THE HISTORY OF THE EVENTS SURROUNDING APRIL 19TH, 1775. WE WERE GREETED WITH TEMPS IN THE LOW 40'S, AND SLIGHT BREEZES. THE TEMP WARMED UP DURING THE AFTERNOON, AND WE HAD EXCELLENT RIFLE SHOOTING AND HISTORY LEARNING WEATHER.
A TOTAL OF 6 RIFLEMAN REQUALIFIED, AND THERE WERE 8 REDCOAT TARGETS CLEANED! THOSE 1ST PA RIFLE REGT. PATCHES SURE ARE NICE TO EARN. THERE WERE ALSO MANY STUDENTS ARE RIGHT ON THE CUSP OF EARNING THEIR RIFLEMAN PATCHES, WITH SCORES OF 185-200 BEING COMMON. FOR THOSE ON THE EDGE OF EARNING RIFLEMAN STATUS, STAY WITH IT! WITH PRACTICE, UTILIZING THE STEADY HOLD FACTORS, FIRING THE SHOT "BY-THE-NUMBERS", YOU WILL EARN THAT COVETED PATCH! I ENCOURAGE THOSE ON THE VERGE, COME BACK AND TRY AGAIN, YOU WILL EARN THAT COVETED STATUS!

I would like to thank the A/S cadre who made this event possible- without you this doesn't work. And a special thanks to the students who make this worthwhile, every time!
I shot a 225, not my best showing but I had fun. I just wanted to make sure I could still do it before getting out there a helping out again.
