The old saying "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" was put into practice last weekend in Ohio. The big, two-day IBC planned for that weekend had to be postponed, but was replaced with a two smaller events that started the Appleseed season.
Saturday was set aside for Shoot Bosses to gather and discuss best practices, administrative tasks, mentoring, leadership, KD presentations, and many other topics. Five leaders converged from all corners of the state, ranging from aspiring to brand new to experienced Shoot Bosses. Any time I have the opportunity to meet with a group like this I am inspired by their dedication to the mission and their drive to make the program even better.
