The most wintery winter seed I have ever attended or instructed at. 9 shooters and three instructors braved a winter storm for this 1 day KD shoot. Shooters endured temps in the low 20s and more than 5 inches of snowfall during our time on the line.
Shooters gathered dope, learned to read the wind, and shot 1 AQT for score. Kjell scored a 49/50 with a rifle he'd never shot before. Congrats buddy! Kjell and Paul both rang steel at 468 yards, with 3/3 hits each on the Buffalo.
We were lucky to have Snow Snake drive over and instruct with us. Always a pleasure to work with you my friend.

I had my doubts driving up in the predawn dark and driving snow, thinking I might be the only fool out wandering about in a blizzard playing with guns and telling stories about the winter war of '76-'77 to myself...BUT NO! Low and behold, there were 13 of us fools out to wander around with rifles, learn our gear and ourselves better, make hits beyond 400 yards, and appreciate the choices and sacrifices of the founders. Made me proud of my state and my community to see this many folks out under these circumstances, doing this thing we do...Did my heart and spirit good.
