P3 Thinking: Purposefully, Productively, Possiblities
https://www.podiumsportsjournal.com/2011/03/28/p3-thinking-conditioning-yourself-mentally/

This topic came up in Week 6 of the CMP Summer Rifle Clinic for coaches.  I searched on the WWW and found the link there.  I aim to get that distinguished tab one day with a rack rifle.

That's a very good read.  The mental side of shooting sometimes gets lost in the physical side and equipment aspects.

A few years ago I took a picture of an inspirational poster in a sports team's training facility.  I was on a tour before the big game and the poster struck me as something valuable. The funny thing it is what I did all along when I was doing a lot of competing in IHMSA handgun silhouette shooting.

Anyway, here it is.

Good read! Thanks for sharing. Agree with Gus that, although it's often said shooting really is 95% mental, we spend 98% of our time & effort on everything else.

Reminds me of Bassham's book With Winning in Mind (https://mentalmanagementstore.com/product/with-winning-in-mind/ (https://mentalmanagementstore.com/product/with-winning-in-mind/)), which is also really good.
