Title: Coroplast Harvest season is upon us
Post by: The Wolfhound on October 12, 2020, 08:18:42 AM
Wish you had good quality coroplast backers for all your ranges? Harvest season is upon us.  The day after this election there will be a bunch of coroplast election signs that will not have any potential for reuse.  Contact the political committees in your region and get their permission to harvest this resource.  I find I can get 6 excellent 32 inch by 24 inch backers from a single 4 foot by 8 foot sign.  There are also usually steel "T" posts holding it upright.  Many a Virginia target line has benefited from these posts.  You have a couple of weeks to secure permission.  Merely state that you are going to repurpose the coroplast.  Some campaigns may be reluctant if they know our purpose.  Those campaigns may bring particular joy when you start shooting their signs after the harvest; know what I mean?  It is out there! Do not let it go to waste!  Start noting the locations of these signs now.

Good idea, but I'm blessed with an abundant source of cardboard, so I'm sticking with "old school".   ;)
