Six great Americans came out to learn the new pistol course of fire in Hollywood Florida on Saturday. I cant say it enough it was hot. At one point the heat index was 108. None the less 5 out of the six shooters shot score on the PQT.
Wendy and Duke turned in scores of 228 and 231. Wow great shooting. Mario knocked out a 198 followed up with 213. Steve and Joe were fighting with the heat but none the less turned in a 211 and 212. All of these were with 22 caliber pistols. Mario and Duke had to try the PQT with a center fire. Mario with a 9 mm turned in a 168 and Duke made an impressive score of 206 with a 45 cal. Keep working on that grip and those scores will go up.
The event was a hit. We did not have control of the entire range so there were other shooters with us. All were interested in when they could take the course. 7 stepping all day long
The south Florida cadre is eager to get this program going down here. We have more work to do on the POI for shooters but we are making progress.
Awesome shooting! And I concur, Grip is the key for Centerfire!
WOW!
A fine job all around!
Congratulations to all.

Sound like a fun time; hope to make it out some day. Goodness knows I need more trigger time!
Great job, Steve.
Looking forward to working with you in Ellijay on the 19th! As it turns out, I will still be the SB.
Bring your pistol-teaching gear if you can...we may be able to get in an afternoon of pistol with a few of us on Friday, Sept 18th. I will put out the word to see if we can work it out and have more than just me, but I'd love to have you help me hone my pistol skills.

HUZZAAH! Great job all!
(After our TTT class in Palm Bay, I, too, have been practicing weekly. It makes a huge difference!)
