Title: Dunbarton, NH August 8-9, 2020 AAR

This was an outstanding event. We had five students who were safe in handling, quick to learn, and really put in the effort to use what we taught. Participation was limited by quarantine regulations, but the small group was efficient and we got in plenty of quality trigger time.

Saturday produced our first Rifleman of the weekend: Dan with a 214. He extended this proficiency with scores of 236 and 237 on Sunday. Sunday afternoon, after working hard in the heat all day, Mike turned in a 217 for his first Rifleman score. HUZZAH! to you both, and especially to Mike for joining the ranks of Riflemen.

Saturday we shot four AQTs, and Sunday eight. We took an hour on Sunday morning to conduct the Carding the Sights exercise which revealed valuable information about whether we really solid NPOA or not. We followed this with a brief discussion of dry-fire exercises to keep our skills up. On Sunday afternoon we covered actual distance shooting, although the range was not suitable for any live fire at distance.

Equally important was our discussion of history and citizenship. I hope everyone will carry on their determination to participate in the great system on which our country was made.

What? FiremanBob conducts a dry shoot?  Your "Noah" reputation is fading. Know that you are missed with great fondness "down south".
