Title: Orlando, FL AAR August 15th-16th, 2020
Post by: Cable___Guy on August 18, 2020, 03:46:36 PM
9 Patriots came out to Hear the history , improve their marksmanship , learn about them selves and face the brutal Florida Sun.
6 Brave canopies came along to provide us shade  4 canopies came back alive.

Great improvement was made by all.
All the Credit goes to the wonderful instructor crew that showed up.

More to follow.  :F

Watching Canopies self destruct in a Raging Down pour, is interesting But not Fun. There was not a Dry Student or Instructor, on the line Saturday Afternoon. But We did do some more shooting. Then More rain!!!! to say Late Saturday afternoon was a Washout, would be an understatement.

Sunday was a much better day weather wise.

Hope those canopies received a posthumous decoration LOL!

No better way to learn the value of ziplock baggies.

Good show; "a rifleman perseveres" is a line I'm using quite a bit these days. Fits here for sure.

A big thank you to Cable_Guy and his team of instructors out there for this Appleseed event. As always at Appleseed events, top notch marksmanship instruction and great telling of the history the events that took place on April 19, 1775.
My marksmanship accuracy increased considerably at this event with the wonderful instruction that was provided by the instructors. I see a rifleman patch in my near future.
Thanks again,
Ryan G.

Hey Ya,

Twas a weekend that I needed!

Caught up with Hangfire Ten yesterday by complete accident.  As always I get to meet the coolest people!

He happened to remind me what Adair's pistol might have sounded like.
