Shoot from the plague year. Despite moist weather on the first day and the standard Covid challenges, Three shooters from the Kenai Peninsula persevered. Father and son Dale and Wyatt both qualified and new shooter Trey made lots of progress on his journey to become a rifleman.AK84,Rocky907 and Guts did a real good job instructing and coaching.Smokepole from earlier Appleseed shoots showed up and lent a hand. All in all a great celebration of liberty.
Wyatt and I had a great time shooting! Thanks for all the help, patience, and perseverance from all the instructors, as well as the loaner rifle when my tube fed Model 60 went down the literal tube due to the wet sandy mess.
While I have been to a few Appleseed shoots in NM, I do not recall the gallon cold water test for the rifleman's bubble, or was that a sunshine patriot test? :F
The stories told were well done, including a few I have not heard before.
Thanks again for the fun weekend, and you will likely be seeing more of us offering to help.
Regards,
"AK-Walker"
