The narrarator did not mention George's mental problem manifested later in life as madness; yet the founders labeled him a Tyrant not suited to rule. I wonder if some of that touch of madness was present in 1775.  Here is a video on George that discuses his state of mind. (note the interesting historical note indicating George was a bigamist see at 5:48)

Good video. He was also desirous if abosolute monarchy notwithstanding; there was belief in its restoration and support among the people and parliament.

Good videos.  The insanity of George III likely influenced the Founding Fathers to avoid the Monarch form of government, relying instead on a form of government that did not rest on a single individual.

This is a great although short video.  It illustrates the importance of good intelligence prior to conflict.  King George had no idea that Colonial riflemen would PERSIST!!
