Here are photos from the 2020 Gilette Shoot. If anyone wants higher resolution pictures let me know.
Thanks for the photos, Crystal. Sorry I could not be there, but looks as if everyone was enjoying the cool high plains air! LIBERTY,,
Looks like you guys had a successful event up there. That awning you rigged on the firing line is perfect. So nice to have a little shade from that blazing sun!
It was a great weekend to shoot in northern Wyoming. The sun was beating down, and we had a few gusts, but thanks to our resourceful Appleseed volunteers had a awesome canopy helping us beat the sun. While we didn't have anyone qualify, we did get to hone in on the instruction and history. I was excited to see especially the younger shooters getting a lot of the history. We even had a few spectators that were on other ranges that stuck around for the histories and some of the courses of fire, with luck we'll see them at another event soon.
I want to thank all the instructors that came and made the event a safe and wonderful weekend, specifically John for bringing the tarps to keep us covered!
Also, a huge thanks to the Gillette Gun club, they let us use a really fantastic range.
The shoot was excellent on so many levels. This was a labor of love on the part of all.
