Bob, after clearing the redcoat target, and EARNING the coveted Pennsylvania 1st. Rifle Regiment patch!
Bob persevered with difficulty, and also scored a 205 on his last AQT of the day, proving that he is on the track to earn a RIFLEMAN patch.
I think his next APPLESEED will prove fruitful...

Sam, with the 2 RIFLEMAN patches he earned this past weekend. His scores were 221 and 226. No north bridge water for this young man!
His father, who also attended and shot several AQT'S that were very close to RIFLEMAN level, was just as proud as could be. As would any father. Sam was also presented with our nation's first naval ensign, as a token of good luck as he embarks on his journey serving our country, in the U.S. Navy.

The weekend was uncomfortably hot and humid, and cadre and students alike drank an amazing amount of water to stay hydrated. Sweating was the order of the day!
Everyone persevered, and we continued to teach, learn, and apply the fundamentals. Considering the sacrifices made by those who fought , bled, and died for our liberty, it was a small inconvenience to swelter in the sun to learn those skills that are such an AMERICAN tradition!
