It has been absolutely forever since I've posted in here, but I wanted to let everyone know that I am still making customized jackets. A variety of colors and patterns, right or left handed. I can even add your patches.
Email me and I'll let you know what info I need, and I let you know the price and payment options. A basic jacket is $135, plus $15 priority shipping.

Thanks so much! Happy 4th,!

Can you post some pics?
This is a jacket in progress - no buttons, yet.
You can try my website, but I've been told it had issues, but there are photos on Facebook. Not So Standard Issue
Mary,
Glad to see you back here! Lot of changes over the last few years, to be sure.
Thanks! It's something I always mean to do - get back here - and something always seems to get in the way! Been super busy, and I think of so many things on the back of the motorcycle, and nothing ever comes of it because I forget by the time we get home.
I sent the husband off on deployment on Wednesday, and finally remembered all the things I think about.
This is where I really got started, can't ever lose sight of that. I'm grateful for all of you, truly.

Excellent Jackets.
She can make a custom size shoot jacket that make even me look good. :F

I have seen several of Miss Mary' shooting jackets on AS riflemen. They are first class!!

Thanks, everyone, for the endorsements!
I have been told that the jacket had increased shooting scores (lol), and that they are as good as, or better than, the jackets the guys had in the service. Those touch my heart, as I do have special connections to service members. To let you know, I currently am fulfilling a contract with Camo Pendleton, so I must be doing something right! Hoping for another base to jump on, as I'm almost done with this one. I just want to make sure everyone here is taken care of, too!
I ordered mine a few weeks ago, and it just arrived today. I'm very satisfied with it. The price was great for a bespoke jacket. It's got padding for your strong side shoulder, both elbows, and the front of the weak side arm; which is great for using a loop sling. There's also an optional hood. I ordered OD twill for the fabric.
Thread is a little old, are you still making jackets?

She does great work. Hopefully, she is still at it. I love mine.
If I were to send you appropriate leather, could you make the elbow and shoulder pads faced with leather?
tk
I am very rarely here on the forums. This thread was sent directly to me. I am sorry that I'm not up to date on everything.
I can do stuff with leather, but it would depend on how thick it was to cover the pads.

I can deal with things so much easier there!
Just an update on one kid. The younger son is 21, now, and just got his concealed carry.
Thanks, everyone! I sure appreciate the love.

I have been very satisfied with the shooting cost I purchased around 7 years ago or so from Mary. 57 asked for some pictures so please see attached. I'm probably due for a new one to be honest. The Georgia red clay doesn't wash out. Hahaha. I added the collar and am happy for it. On the next one I'll probably get Mary to also add a pocket on trigger side front lower for the 10 round when standing. Although, if I get a new one I'll probably move the patches to it as my "dress coat" and keep the other for playing in the Georgia mud. ;D
Thanks Mary!

In a perfect world you could buy a jacket in a water resistant material or Gore tex lining with with non-slip material on the elbow and shoulder padding that could be used as a field jacket as well as a shooting jacket. A removable liner and hood would be ideal. That would make an all season, all weather jacket.
I guess I'll have to keep dreaming. It would have a small market and probably illegal for NRA/CMP competition. But I'll take one in black please.
I don't know about the hood and liner, but I paid Mary extra for a collar on mine so I can flip it up and keep the brass and sun off. Works great!
For water-proofing try spraying it with scotch guard (https://www.amazon.com/Scotchgard-Outdoor-Water-Shield-10-5-Ounce/dp/B004ZP83H8).
The jacket I ordered from her came with a hood. Scotch Guard works well. I use it on all my canvas backpacks.
