Title: Army to Abandon 25 meter Alt Qual Course of Fire?
Post by: CarrollMS on March 29, 2020, 10:09:59 AM

I came across this opinion from last year that the Army would abandon the 25 meter alternative course of fire for annual re-qualification with the rifle   I think it to be premature. There are many locations where the full distance ranges are not available.

By the way, I ordered two sets of targets last year that never came. Then this week I got a federal form that the company was in bankruptcy. Does anyone know a source for the 25 meter Alternate targets.

Can't vouch for this company, but they list Alt-C targets for Sale.

If you only need a few, it would be possible to scan, edit in Adobe, and print at Kinkos or similar on the large format printer.  That's what I did for Appleseed KD targets.  Also, the same PDF I generated is what we used for our electronic screen display targets at the range.  Malabar cleaned up the pdf for our electronic display.  IAO works!

Thanks Gary. I will check them out. I have considered making a template and painting the shapes on poster paper as an expedite.
