Arms Unlimited AR-15 Ambidextrous Magazine Release
I can follow this with more pictures if requested. This part runs $25.99 from Brownell's. You may find it cheaper. It took me about 2 minutes to install.
The Arms Unlimited Ambidextrous AR-15 Magazine Release allows left handed shooters to release the mag with either hand to achieve fast reloads while the support hand remains in place. It does not interfere with the function of the button on the right side of the rifle.
Easy to install: simply push the current magazine release button far enough out to allow you to unscrew your AR-15 existing magazine latch, then screw the Arms Unlimited ambidextrous release in its place. You want the new latch flush on the button.
I can very easily reach and activate the magazine release with my trigger finger. This allows my support hand to stay fixed on the stock.
Yup - they work quite well for us left handed shooters. O0
I have not tried that one, but I have installed two of the Knight's Armament ones so far.

This particular style moves the button back towards the handgrip, however it is substantially more expensive.

I run TROYs on all of mine. They work perfect.
Lifelong lefty AR shooter here. When the ambi mag releases exploded on the market about 20 years ago I bought a bunch and experimented. I'm not going to endorse any brand; but I will endorse a concept,
The cheaper ones had the left side release button levering on the receiver. The costlier and slightly more complicated ones hinged on an integral plate. Steel lever rotating on an aluminum receiver was not a good idea. I don't remember the brand of my 5?, but they look like the Knights. I do know they are incompatible with the BAD bolt release finger lever(lol).
