The 1988 Hallmark movie "April Morning", is on Amazon Prime movies. I was very impressed with the story, uniforms, costumes, weapons, tactics, set, and with few exceptions the portrayal of known facts, etc.. Below is the summary from Rotten Tomatoes Note the date it was originally telecasted... April 24th.

I put this one on my WatchList and calendar to review annually. I note that others in the past have recommended this film, but I did not see where it was previously available for streaming

Amazon rotates their "freebie" list around periodically, so things that are "prime" now might not be later, but will be later again lol
Good movie, interesting theory postulated, and a good watch, even if some of the historical details are speculated.
