I happen to have a 10/22 barreled receiver set (.920 bull).I'd like to set up a better & adjustable stock that is well designed for 3-position Appleseed matches.A friend of mine suggested the Titan 1022 stock with the cheek riser.
What is the wisdom of the crowd? Thanks in advance!
You might find the Magpul or Boyd's AT-ONE stocks more "adjustable". Also, the Titan stock is very smooth and not conducive to sweaty hands without some sort of traction aid (glove, traction tape, etc.). That being said, I seriously looked at getting a Titan stock. However, my Bell and Carlson Heritage stock works well for me and I see no reason to change what works. YMMV
Ruger makes a modular stock, with components for standard and short LOP, with standard and high cheeks for both. The components run about $20 from ruger, and change easily by removing the rear sling mount, swapping the module, then putting the sling mount back in.
They also offer an ar style stock with removable cheek riser, the TK22

I LOVE LOVE LOVE a boyd's. But they're heavy.
Huge fan of the Titan stock. I don't find it too smooth, but I also shoot with a glove of some sort on my support hand. The Titan is on my long range (200 yd) 10/22 and has made a couple of Rifleman in that capacity as a loaner. People always comment on the quality while using it. Like it a lot better than my Hogue and Magpul stocks. I did not even need the riser. The Ruger modular stocks is good and I use it on loaners with the modules. But the Titan is much nicer.

Does Ruger sell the modular stock on it's own? I've looked and haven't seen the stock itself. I'd seriously consider upgrading at least one of my older rifles to it if they did.
Strangely, no, though you can buy the LOP and riser modules from Ruger.
I have bought takeoff Ruger factory stocks from here: https://sapoutfitters.com/product-category/ruger-10-22/10-22-22-charger-stocks/
But it looks like they are out of stock of the modular version: https://sapoutfitters.com/product/factory-oem-ruger-youth-model-compact-modular-stock/

Is the Blackhawk Axiom style acceptable? Cheap, adjustable and effective. Pair it with a cantilevered Volquartsen rail and the lowest rings you can mount a low power scope with and you may not need a cheek riser.
Thanks everyone, I will cogitate some and then make my choice.
I got one of these when I built a rifle for my wife. It's got lots of adjustment for cheek height and angle, as well as some stock length adjustment. It's also pretty...

My Magpul Hunter X-22 Stock with a few different cheek risers works really well in adapting my 10/22 to myself at 6 foot 6 inches or to my wife at 5-4. Very versatile stock, works really well. Often can be found for just over $110 or so.
Good lookin stock Malabar. I prefer that type of pistol grip also. Who is the maker?

Holy smokes! Make the Shot, those are two of the best looking 10/22's I've seen. I like my hunter X-22 stock, but I will definitely have to save up for one of those "someday" rifles. Thanks for posting.

Did you drill the stock for sling swivels in the spots they provide?,or use one on the m-lok slots to mount one of the qd swivels for the stock? I'm curious because i picked up a x-22 hunter after reading this thread an was wondering what would be the best route.

On my Magpul Hunter X-22 stock I installed a socket for a quick release, push-button swivel on the left side of the butt stock and an M-LOK quick release sling swivel socket at the six o'clock position of the hand guard.
