Every sling I have with standard swivels (https://www.dsarms.com/images/product/medium/12039.jpg) has come with the swivel attached, and I have yet had no need to research or buy them separately.
I have two slings on the way with no hardware and need to purchase two pairs of swivels- any recommendations? Not looking for anything fancy, just simple reliability and if possible trying to avoid typical Amazon/Ebay Chinesium. Anyone have a "go to" manufacturer?
Thanks in advance.
Ammogarand sells these and claims they are made in the USA:

Blackhawk also says theirs are US manufactured.
Grovtec is my go-to brand for swivels (especially non-detachable ones). They are Made in the USA. I often use Outdoor Connection Talon swivels for a detachable front swivel (also made in the USA and guaranteed forever).
For cheap & basic swivels, AmmoGarand.com has my favorites. They're all metal (including the locking knob), and made by GroveTec, just without the "GT" logo.

For nicer swivels, the "Titan" models by The Outdoor Connection are the ones I like. They're very smooth, and the pin slides open easily (it's held closed by a ball detent). Perfect when you're constantly taking the sling on & off the stud. They also make them in silver color, which nicely matches stainless barrels.

These are my all-time favorite sling swivels:
Talon Sling Swivels

Simple, durable, push-button design, with nothing to twist, so they are faster to attach and the spring is tough enough they won't fall off. You can probably find them a little cheaper than the link if you look around. They are very solid construction. I have yet to wear one out though I have seen a few with a light coat of rust after a sweaty, rainy day, so keep em oiled when you clean your rifle. I painted most of mine with red fingernail polish so I know which are mine when I loan them out.

^Yes! These are what I use as well. Way better than Uncle Mikes swivels.
The Talons and Titans look interesting. I'll have to give them a try.
I bought a pair of the Talon swivels. They are currently residing in a plastic bag somewhere in the bottom of one of my range bags.
Yes, they appear to be durable and well-made. But the very square cross section of the swivels I found to be rather hard on slings, especially 1907 leather slings, and the slings do not slide through the swivels as smoothly.
Now I usually use the spring steel J hooks that come on the butt end of USGI web slings to attach and detach my slings from the swivels. But the J hooks do not clip on or come off of the Talon swivels as easily as they do with swivels that have a rounded cross section.
As always, your mileage may vary.
Thanks for the info, all. When the slings get here, I'll proceed with a purchase from ammogarand (I especially like the Appleseed shout-out on the website). The Titans look good; the Grovtec style is a bit more of what I'm used to. :)
I like the Talon type swivel on the front end of the stock. I buy one such pair and match it with a round bar type (such as Uncle Mike's) for the rear to get around the J-hook issue. I only use webbing type slings. Two pair swivels for 2 rifles.
I like the groove tech like sold at the Appleseed store for the 10/22s and wood stocked guns
on my ARs I really like the Magpul para clip https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1016446110?pid=248672 I use a loop of para cord for the rear on the MOE stocks.
when I get a 10/22 and swap the swivel studs or add swivel studs to a wood stock , I put a drop of tight-bond wood glue in the hole and when it drys the studs don't keep turning on me.
I really like the Talons. As to J hooks, I take them off the slings and use just the Talon swivels. Cuts the noise way down.
