Persistence. This weekend we had dozen shooters young and old, some with old physical issues or stresses from injuries persisting in 90+ degrees and high humidity in hot Southern Massachusetts days. On the first Red Coat on Saturday, I was wondering if anybody was even hitting the paper. The last Red Coat of Saturday showed a dramatic and impressive improvement in the 100 and 200 yard hits, persistence. Sunday we talked more about our heritage, safety and the skills that were we grinding out to have the impacts on the desired point of aim. Shooting started 12:00 due to local customs. A steady stream of shoot, hydrate, short breaks with the history they did into this hot August day. Although no riflemen were made, extraordinary persistence was shown with this good crew.
A few casing burns were proudly worn.

I do forget how pretty New England is outside of the big cities.... Looks like a great shoot, Round Trip. And I have no doubt you told them that riflemen persist! They'll get it at the next event, for sure!
Huzzah!
