We had a great shoot this last weekend, it was a bit warm but we had some great shooters on the line. For one it was her first time at an Appleseed, at 9 years old she was running the Cricket Rifle like an old pro by the end of the weekend.
Nathan scored a Riflemen score at his first shoot and his son Ryan is on the verge and will be there in one or two more shoots, especially after getting his equipment sqared away. Both Ryan and Nathan have a fair amount of shooting experience but have the unique ability to learn something new and apply it almost right away.
Darrin and Maria made huge strides this weekend and Darrin almost cleared the last Red Coat of the weekend using iron sights on his AR-15. Maria had some equipment issues on Saturday but things settled down on Sunday and she was able to improve and start enjoying herself.
Bailey has been at several shoots over the last several years and started consistently shooting 220 and higher on the AQT with a couple of Red Coats being cleared from both the prone and the seated positions. This past weekend Bailey decided to take the plunge and at 14 he has taken on an Orange Hat and will start the journey towards teaching others. Congratulations bailey and I look forward to working the line with you for years to come.
Outstanding improvements in Redcoat targets showed great perseverance and persistence! Outstanding! O0
