Pine Bluffs Wyoming AAR 22-23June 2019
Saturday started with a cold drizzle - down from the hammering rain of the night before. By 1000 there were patches of blue sky and a welcome sun. Nola was our only shooter, and she got plenty of individual instruction! She was using a borrowed 10/22 and scored a 207 in the afternoon. Soo close…
Sunday was a repeat of weather accompanied by strong shifting breezes. Nola was joined on the line by friend Julie, also with a 10/22. She was plagued with ammunition issues, and also could only shoot from sitting.
We may not have had the numbers we wanted, but these two women demonstrated pluck and perseverence that would have made our ancestors proud! They left with their handouts, a few targets and the determination to hone their skills before the next event. Our collective hats are off to you ladies, thank you both.
Thanks are due to able Instructors sleepy and LineDoc as well as Regional Coordinator colonial shooter. Thank you for all your instruction and expertise.
Thanks to Pine Bluffs Sportsman's Club for hosting us. A great range - if you are in the vicinity and not a member, shame on you.
Thanks to club members: Patrick, for your photos and for liasing with the Pine Bluffs Post.
Den, for offering his Socom for the ladies to shoot.
Charles, for his hospitality, for his burgers on Saturday and pizza on Sunday, and for mowing the range for us.
Nola and Julie for the cinnamon rolls and muffins. You ladies rock!
Diane & John, we missed you
Project Appleseed appreciates your support.
LIBERTY!

This thread https://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=56132.0 (https://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=56132.0) was started a couple of days before this event. Glad it didn't come to fruition. All in all a very good event! I will look for the article in the local paper and give a link.
Definitely a fun weekend! As always, shoots are a mix of old and new friends.
Saturday was a pleasure to work with Nola, and Sunday allowed us to work with Julie, too.
Charles, Patrick, and Den were hanging out, always great company. Diane and John, who were supposed to be in Laramie enjoying the blizzard...I mean conference, came back and spent time with us Saturday night.
Doc Joe, scarce this year due to work commitments, took time to swing down and visit with us on Sunday. Add Line Doc, M1bzrk, and colonialshooter...we had some good company.
And to top it off, we were a few degrees above freezing when the wet stuff was coming down. Who says summer forgot Wyoming? At least in the lower elevations LOL!
