I have had some in the past and my ak ran it with no hang ups and was hitting steel at 800 with it so I would say get all you can get....
I haven't shot the ammo, but did load some of the brass for highpowr rifle match shooting. It worked well.
Thanks for the info i will try to get 1k of it. 1911Ron

You have to watch out with some of the IZZY ammo out there it was delinked MG ammo that was stored in desert caches. Dealers will tumble clean this ammo to clean it up. It is very good for ball and dummy as You will get about 2 to 5 misfires per 100 !! due to this being old and stored in high heat. I also had some case head ruptures with this ammo in my HK and a FN-FAL. This was in summer with temps at 80+. I have shot 6000 rounds of this stuff and anything that misfired i pulled the bullet for later reloading. It could have been the stuff my friends and I bought , but this was about 2002 time frame, I finished it up at the Canton/Minerva AS in October 2008. One good thing about the ammo is it's boxer primed so SAVE YOUR CASES!! To remember the good old ammo days I only payed 10cents per round.
