All,
Please join me in congratulating/welcoming SteelThunder as the new Great Lakes Regional Coordinator. Kris will be taking over from me, as I focus on my new responsibilities with the AOC.
Kris attended his first Appleseed in June 2007 with The Guy and Fred as instructors
At his second event, he earned the Rifleman patch and accepted an Orange Hat in October 2011
He is currently a Senior Instructor, was the MI SC for 2 years, and also has been on the NRAAM IP team for 4 years
Kris has been married for 27 years, has 3 kids -- 2 in college, 1 in high school, and has 2 Labs and cat
Also known as the Warlord of the West, he works for a large aerospace manufacturer.
Outside of Appleseed, he enjoys road cycling, working on a grumpy Russian motorcycle, is a really bad CMP Service Rifle and 3 Gun competitor, is also color-blind private pilot, and is heavily involved in Scouts and his church board.
Kris' goal for the Region is to "bottle" the innovation and growth within the Great Lakes, apply it to all the states within the region, and share/steal best practices between the regions.
Thanks, SteelThunder for stepping up!
Thank you, ST, for taking on the additional responsibility. You have big shoes to fill l, but I have the greatest confidence in you. O0
