Title: Salutary Neglect
Post by: Ramblin' Wreck on March 04, 2019, 09:16:54 AM
Fellow Patriots,
As I was knocking the rust off my strikes I came across this article with a term I'd never heard before. This make perfect sense why the colonists pushed back so hard against an increasingly tyrannical government. They had been allowed free rein for over 100 years and resented the freedom and liberty they'd grown up with being taken away. Consider mentioning it as appropriate.

I wish D.C. would practice some Salutary Neglect. All I want is to be left alone.
