^:)^ ^:)^ WOWZA! We had such a GREAT event in Fort Worth, TX. ^:)^ ^:)^
After needing to cancel 7 of the last 8 events due to rain and unusable range conditions, we had our second event on the exclusive Appleseed range at Quail Creek Range. We're so very excited about the possibilities this exclusive range offers to Appleseed and the number of shooters in North Texas that we can experience our amazing program! :1luvu
Seven hearty shooters braved an unusually cold North Texas winter with temperatures starting out in the low 30's and only warming a few degrees as the day progressed. The misting rainfall after lunch made the temperature feel 10 degrees colder. Concerned that the rain might start falling harder, we foregone the green coat targets and went right into a timed AQT! Adrian just missed his Rifleman patch with a score of 208 - gotta admit, we sure looked for two more points. We asked the shooters whether they wanted to continue shooting in the rain or to shoot the final redcoat and call it day. Unanimously, they chose to shoot another AQT!
And WOW what an AQT. We awarded two Winterseed Rifleman patches - the first to Andre who raised his score to 217 with iron sights and the second to Gert Lessing who scored a 228 with iron sights.
I'm also pleased to also announce that Andre has joined the Instructor Cadre by accepting an Orange Hat. We also have three others who have expressed an interest in joining the instructor cadre as well! O0
Oh, we can't leave Gert's beautiful daughter, Miss Mina, out of this report - this beautiful young lady worked her bolt action like a pro. Despite the cold temperatures, she refused to give up and put the same number of shots down range as her Dad! She's bringing her Mom to the LadySeed in April!!!! :)
  Last, but certainly not least, we're sending a HUGE Shout Out to Quail Creek Range - Thanks again for your generosity! We so appreciate your sponsorship of Appleseed. :1luvu :1luvu
