I am opening this post up for our new shoot boss in training to complete. I failed to take a group photo - first time maybe ever! :wb:
You have to love Fall in Central Florida. Saturday was a bit hot with highs well over 90 but Sunday cooled right down to 85 with a nice breeze. A great day to go shooting. 6 great Americans came out to shoot with us at the Wyoming Antelope club. The youngest just 8 years old.
Our two youngest James (8) and Alicia (11) showed they know very well what they are about. Even with rifles that were way to large for their small frames they had great groups and improved all weekend. Way to go you two! I look forward to seeing you on the line again.
Keith drove all the way from Colorado to see a friend of his and shoot at our Appleseed. 28 degrees when he left 95 when he arrived. To start the day his new rifle would not put holes in a backer much less a target. By the end of day one he was dialing it in and making good hits on target. Great improvement.
Carol has shot with us several times. You are truly a joy to work with and an inspiration to us all.
Cliff I believe this was your second Appleseed. Keep working on that dry fire practice. Remember with transitions and mag changes smooth is fast. No need to be quick if you can do it all smoothly. It will all click soon and that Rifleman's patch is just around the corner when it does.
Thanks go out to all our shooters and the great crew that helped run this shoot. Without you Appleseed does not exist.
